Wren was born in the Scorpion's den during Vulture's regime (around the canon second arc) and was immediately set out to be the head medic for the Talons of Power by her parents: Cougar and an unknown Sandwing. As she was nearing her teenage years, about ready to enter medical training school, her father got killed in an attempt to assasinate one of Queen Thorn's high-ranking guards. Months later, Cougar was married to Hellfire, who already had Bull with his ex-wife. Wren was too busy with school at the time to remember anything about her father or stepsister.
Once she was finished with her studies, Vulture took her in and she became a medic working for the ToP. That's how her 'obsession' of collecting and studying plants formed. Except it wasn't just an obsession- many say it's like she had a sixth sense with botany and chemistry. After Vulture abandoned his plans, she found out that her biological father was ordered to attempt to assasinate the guard and was furious at Vulture. The teenage Sandwing didn't completely understand it at the time, and tried to poison him. Her plan failed, and most of the dragons that reamined at the ToP became angry and attempted to kill her. Wren had no other choice than to flee her home.
Wren lives on the outskirts of the sandwing kingdom, near the sky kingdom, far from any neighbors. Her house is filled to the brim with various plants and her outdoor garden seems to expand every few weeks. She's well-known underground as a poison producer. Her dedication to her study shows in the potency and effectiveness of the poison. However, she also produces medication for the general public. Several high-ranking officials turn to Wren for her rare skill to keep them alive (and in power) for longer. It's rumored everyone who visits Wren gets cured. If you mess with her, she'll mess with your dose.
Wren may not have the best fighting skills, but that's where her best friend, Abispa, comes in. They met at one of Bull's famous parties and bonded over their similar morals. They look out for each other and their presence is highly respected in the continent.
